The second edition of the Best Final Degree Project Awards brought together the deans of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medicine and Psychology to decide on the best final project presented in their specialisation. The prizes are awarded to projects with the highest marks and assessment by those responsible for the subject in each degree programme.
With these awards, we aim to boost the trajectory of young researchers and encourage students in these programmes to continue research once they have completed their studies.
In this edition of the Cátedra Hestia, Best Final Degree Project 2021-22 Awards, we are pleased to award the prize to three students:
Winners of the Hestia Award for the Best Final Degree Project 2021-2022
- Cristina Rius Puchol from Nursing, for her project ‘Adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral del VIH- en Kenia. Traducción y adaptación cultural al inglés en Kenia de un cuestionario de conocimientos, creencias, comportamientos, actitudes y adherencia al tratamiento del VIH’.
- Flora Dantony from Physiotherapy, for her project ‘Efectos del ejercicio aeróbico sobre el dolor en pacientes con trastornos temporomandibulares miogénicos y sospecha de sensibilización central. Proyectos de un ensayo clínico’.
- Noa Pasqual Quirós from Medicine, for her project ‘Risc de Covid-19 persistent segons el nivell socioeconòmic i l’accés a la província de Barcelona: Un estudi de casos-control’.
- Mariona Orellana Pérez from Psychology, for her project ‘TDAH, medicació i actitud dels pares i pacients cap al tractament’.
