The second edition of the Awards for Best Final Degree Project brought together the deans of Medicine, Nursing y Physiotherapy to decide on the best final project presented in their specialisation. The prizes are awarded to projects with the highest marks and assessment by those responsible for the subject in each degree programme.
With these awards, we aim to boost the trajectory of young researchers and encourage students in these programmes to continue research once they have completed their studies.
In this edition of the Hestia Chair, Awards for Best Final Degree Project 2020-2021, we are pleased to award the prize to three students:

- Inés Depares Aguilar from Nursing, for her project ‘El estrés percibido por el estudiante de enfermería podría limitar en el desarrollo de una ECOE satisfactoria: estudio cualitativo’.
- Julia Trillo Bartolomé from Physiotherapy, for her project ‘Efectividad de la Terapia de movimiento inducido por restricción del lado sano (TMIR) combinada con la Electroestimulación Funcional frente a la TMIR sobre la funcionalidad de la extremidad superior en pacientes post-ictus en fase subaguda’.
- Elena Brotons Muñoz from Medicine, for her project ‘Impact of quadrivalent meningococcal ACWY conjugate vaccine on invasive meningococcal disease in Catalonia: a pre-post population-based study’.
