Through these endowments, the Hestia Chair in Integrated Health and Social Care seeks to support research projects led by professionals, teams and institutions that care for vulnerable people with high health and social care needs.
The event, held in the Auditorium on the Sant Cugat Health Campus, was presided by Dr Xavier Corbella, director of the Hestia Chair, together with Eduardo Ferreiro and Eva Luque, president and director of Fundación Hestia, the institution with which UIC Barcelona cooperates on this initiative. Other participants included the twelve principal investigators from the projects awarded grants in this call, who briefly explained the objectives, methodology and expected results of their studies.
Hestia Chair, we would like to congratulate all of the researchers involved in the 1st call for Hestia Research Grants.
